asking them is August 28.
However, I am certain that if they knew exactly, they could have been
explicit about it.
This is looking like a big fishing expedition, where their answer to
this question will be something of the like:
'this question has been previously asked and the answer we provided
was sufficient'.
i.e. an answer proportional to the amount of collaboration which they
have provided to this date... and dare I say, is the reason why this
thing is dragging... and explains why nothing has been happening since
March 2007.
I am asking a very precise question to the ECRIT and GEOPRIV lists:
Q. is HELD meant to be used as a PIDF-LO carrying protocol between two
LISes and is there any standards track work done at the IETF to make
this happen? The first LIS is being queried for a PIDF-LO in order to
TDM route the call to the right PSAP by the emergency network
operator. The other LIS is actually just a Location Determination
Platform with a HELD interface....
